Despite national policies, such as Presidential Regulation No. 67/2021, targeting a 90% case detection rate, the national achievement in November 2022 was only 52%, indicating a serious gap in case detection. This study focuses on Metro City, Lampung, which presents unique challenges: although the TB cure rate is reported to be above 85%, its case detection rate was the lowest in the province during the 2011-2013 period, indicating many hidden cases. This study analyzes how strategic management can integrate community empowerment to address this detection problem, especially among pregnant women—a vulnerable group for which prevalence data in Metro City is still limited. Using literature review and policy analysis methods, this study synthesizes best practices from community empowerment models that have proven effective. The results identify the need for three strategic pillars: 1) integration of TB screening into antenatal care (ANC) services, 2) optimization of the role of cadres as the spearhead of active case finding and medication adherence monitoring (MAM), and 3) strengthening of cross-sector collaboration to address under-reporting from private facilities. These recommendations provide measurable guidance for designing effective and sustainable programs in the effort to achieve TB elimination by 2030 in Metro City.
Nurris Septa Pratama Septa, Alli Nurdin, Nurma Hidayati Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Kesehatan https://journal.univwirabuana.ac.id/index.php/jukes/article/view/210 Mon, 29 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0200 EFEKTIVITAS EDUKASI GIZI TERHADAP PENURUNAN RISIKO STUNTING PADA BALITA DI KELURAHAN YOSOMULYO KOTA METRO https://journal.univwirabuana.ac.id/index.php/jukes/article/view/220
Stunting remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including in Metro City, impacting long-term child growth and development. Rapid detection of new cases and reporting them to the national system is key to controlling the spread of the disease. The Health Information System (HIS) has great potential to accelerate this process, but its effectiveness is highly dependent on how the system is managed. This study focuses on evaluating the impact of HIS management in primary health care facilities in Metro City. Objective: To examine the impact of HIS management, as measured by system quality, information quality, and user competence, on the speed of TB case detection and reporting. Method: This quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach involved 60 health workers from 15 community health centers in Metro City, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, medical records, and system logs. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis. Results: The analysis showed that system quality (β = 0.421; p < 0.05) and user competence (β = 0.389; p < 0.05) had a significant and positive effect on the speed of TB detection and reporting. Conversely, information quality (β = 0.112; p > 0.05) did not show a significant effect. Overall, HIS management contributed 68.7% (R² = 0.687) to the acceleration of this process. Conclusion: System quality and user competence are key factors in optimizing HIS for TB control programs in Metro City. Accurate information is very important for predicting diseases in the medical field. Converting collected data into knowledge requires a specialized approach. This process is called data mining. Data mining is typically used to predict specific diseases based on patient medical records, particularly chronic kidney disease. The chronic kidney disease data were obtained from the Kaggle dataset. This study aims to examine the use, evaluate, and compare the performance of various classification algorithms, such as Gradient Boosted Trees, k-NN, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Tree, Generalized Linear Model, and Logistic Regression. The main objective is to find the algorithm with the highest AUC, accuracy, precision, and recall. The results of classifying the dataset using the Decision Tree and Generalized Linear Model algorithms showed outstanding performance, with the highest accuracy of 98.50%. On the other hand, the Naive Bayes and Generalized Linear Model algorithms achieved 100% recall, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to find all positive disease cases. Nausea and vomiting in early pregnancy can be reduced by using complementary therapy, namely by consuming dates. Dates are a high-energy food with an ideal composition, containing carbohydrates, omega-3, vitamin C, vitamin B6, Ca2+, Zn, and Mg. Dates are very rich in fiber and also contain potassium, manganese, phosphorus, iron, sulfur, calcium, and magnesium, which are excellent for consumption and reducing nausea and vomiting. The advantage of dates is that they can reduce stomach pain because they contain folic acid, vitamins, and calcium, which can inhibit serotonin, a neurotransmitter synthesized in serotonergic neurons in the central nervous system and enterochromaffin cells in the digestive tract, thereby providing a comfortable feeling in the stomach and overcoming nausea and vomiting. The research design method used a pre-experimental approach with a pre-test post-test single group design. The sample consisted of 25 pregnant women in their first trimester who experienced nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, selected using purposive sampling. The research tool used was the PUQE. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. Results and Discussion: The results of the analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a difference in the average vomiting score before and after date administration, with an average decrease of 4.88. This phenomenon raises legal issues regarding the proper procedure for lawful child adoption in Indonesia and how the practices carried out by the perpetrators fulfill the elements of the crime of child trafficking. The purpose of this study is to analyze juridically the legal procedures for child adoption as regulated in Indonesian legislation and to examine the illegal adoption modus operandi in the Yogyakarta midwives case from the perspective of criminal law and child protection law. The research method used is normative juridical with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Data were obtained through a literature review of regulations such as Law Number 23 of 2002 on Child Protection as amended by Law Number 35 of 2014, Government Regulation Number 54 of 2007 on the Implementation of Child Adoption, as well as relevant legal literature. The findings show that lawful child adoption procedures must go through a court ruling while considering the best interests of the child, administrative requirements, and supervision by the competent authorities. Meanwhile, the illegal adoption modus carried out by the midwives in this case clearly bypassed legal mechanisms, involved the buying and selling of babies with predetermined prices, and included biological parents who consciously handed over their children to be sold. The conclusion of this study is that the practices carried out by the perpetrators do not constitute adoption as defined in civil law but rather fulfill the elements of child trafficking as stipulated in Article 83 in conjunction with Article 76F of the Child Protection Law, carrying a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment.

Keywords: Illegal Adoption; Child Trafficking; Child Protection Law
Annisa Ayu Martiana, Anggi Fitriani Purwaningrum, Ria Muji Rahayu Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Kesehatan https://journal.univwirabuana.ac.id/index.php/jukes/article/view/189 Mon, 29 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0200
