Obesity in pregnant women as measured by Body Mass Index (BMI) is one of the high risk factors that can cause
various complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Obstetric care for pregnant
women with obese BMI is carried out comprehensively including assessment of nutritional status, monitoring
weight and BMI, nutrition education and physical activity, as well as early detection of complications such as
gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. Nutritional management with a healthy diet and appropriate weight gain
monitoring is highly recommended to prevent complications. The purpose of this care is to help monitor the
condition of the mother and fetus, provide education about a healthy diet, appropriate physical activity, and
monitor weight gain and signs of complications such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. The method used
was a case study, carried out at TPMB S in April - May 2025. Data collection techniques include interviews and
observations and secondary data including documentation and literature studies. The results after midwifery
care on Mrs. T aged 36 years G3P2A0 with IMT Obesity. Midwifery care management is carried out by
conducting nutritional counseling, monitoring the condition of the mother and fetus. Suggestions are expected to
maintain a healthy diet and routine physical activity according to ability.
