IMPLEMENTASI ASUHAN KEBIDANAN PADA IBU HAMIL DENGAN KETIDAKNYAMANAN BRAXTON HICKS

Abstract

Braxton hicks is one of the discomforts that often occurs in mothers in the last trimester in the form of a tight feeling around the stomach that occurs for a while. This study aims to determine the implementation of midwifery care for pregnant women with Braxton Hicks discomfort. This type of research is a case study conducted at TPM Eka Santi from December 2023 to March 2024. The subject of the study was Mrs. J Age 21 years G2P0A1 Gestational age 37 weeks 6 days J/T/H/I Head presentation. Data collection methods used interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study were obtained Mrs. J on the first and second visits said there were complaints of experiencing barxton hicks and had been given care according to standards. The discomfort experienced by Mrs. J is in accordance with the gestational age. Discomfort will generally decrease or disappear on its own over time, so treatment is needed so that it does not interfere with daily activities.
