JUKES: Jurnal Kesehatan Wira Buana adopts the authorship criteria formulated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and COPE to ensure fair and accountable scholarly attribution.
Authorship Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify as an author, an individual must cumulatively satisfy all four criteria:
- Substantial contributions to research conception, design, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data;
- Drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for significant intellectual content;
- Final approval of the version to be published;
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to integrity and accuracy are properly resolved.
Individuals who contributed technical assistance, linguistic proofreading, or general administrative oversight should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section rather than listed as co-authors.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy:
- AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs) cannot be attributed as authors or co-authors, as AI tools cannot accept legal or ethical accountability for scholarly research.
- The use of AI technologies in study conceptualization, computational analytics, or language refinement must be transparently reported within the Methods or Acknowledgments sections.
