Malaria remains a public health problem in the working area of Hanura Primary Health Center, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. This article aims to synthesize and compare the findings of two prior studies—Mardiana (2022), who analyzed the trend and characteristics of malaria patients during 2019–2021, and Rangga (2023), who analyzed the spatial pattern and clustering of malaria cases in 2021—together with supporting official secondary data, to provide a more complete epidemiological and spatial picture of this endemic area. The method used is a narrative review of both theses and published official secondary data. The synthesis shows that of 12,967 suspected cases examined during 2019–2021, 1,093 (8%) were confirmed positive, dominated by patients aged over 15 years and male, with Sukajaya Lempasing village consistently recording the highest number of cases. The 2021 spatial analysis found four significant clusters (p<0.05) of vivax malaria concentrated in Sukajaya Lempasing, with no significant falciparum clusters, and no significant association between house distance to health facilities or breeding sites and malaria incidence. The synthesis underscores the importance of village/hamlet-specific interventions and treatment adherence, rather than distance-based approaches alone.
